The AES Solution
AES engineered the SC-508-4-SAFE Temperature Only Battery Test Chamber system, a high-density, stackable testing network built to meet the unique demands of the application.
- High-Throughput Testing Capacity: The solution deploys 8 chambers in a single laboratory, each equipped with patented ATPPRIME 20A fixtures. With 96 channels per chamber, the setup allows the client to validate an impressive 768 battery cells concurrently.
- Precision Thermal Simulation: Each 8.64 cu. ft. workspace maintains an airtight temperature range of -20°C to 80°C with an exceptional stability of ±0.5°C. This ensures consistent, uniform testing conditions even when dense configurations of 96 fast-charging cells generate localized thermal loads.
- AESONE CONNECT® Instrumentation: Integrated hardware features a 4.3-inch touchscreen programmable controller paired with the AESONE CONNECT® platform. This provides seamless remote monitoring, secure data logging, and an HTTP JSON API over Ethernet to easily integrate testing workflows into existing laboratory systems.
- Space-Saving Double-Stacked Footprint: To overcome severe facility space constraints, the chambers are paired with ruggedized double-stack floor stands featuring locking casters. This vertical architecture doubles the testing capacity per square foot without sacrificing safety or accessibility.
