The challenge? The client required testing for over 100 active units concurrently, each generating a live load. Additionally, the application called for strict humidity regulation (40–60% RH) and a high continuous fresh air exchange rate of 25 air changes per hour (320 CFM) without destabilizing internal ambient conditions or straining laboratory HVAC systems.

AES engineered a 191 cu ft Modular Walk-In Chamber, a high-performance, custom-built system designed to deliver precise environmental control under continuous high-volume air exchange conditions.
- Air Exchange System: Integrated manual fresh air flush system featuring an inlet opening and powered exhaust blower capable of pulling 320 CFM of air through the chamber to facilitate 25 air changes per hour while utilizing facility ambient air to optimize thermal efficiency.
- Precision Thermal & Humidity Simulation: Engineered to maintain ambient temperature operation with a stability of ±0.5°C and 40–60% RH (±2% RH fluctuation) using a 4 hp single-stage mechanical refrigeration system (R-449A), low watt density ceramic-core electric heaters, and a remote rooftop condensing unit.
- AESONE CONNECT® & Watlow F4T Integration: Equipped with a F4T touchscreen programmable controller and AESONE CONNECT® software, enabling seamless remote monitoring, real-time data logging, and automated profile control from a customizable digital dashboard.
- Modular Walk-In Architecture: Constructed with 22-gauge Type 304 #4 stainless steel interior walls, stucco-embossed galvanized white exterior panels, a generous 5'-2" W x 5'-2" D x 7'-2" H internal workspace, and an expansive 48" W x 96" H chamber door for effortless sample loading.
