WPI is a Collaborator in a New National Center on Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is part of ReCell , the first U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) center focused on lithium-ion battery recycling. Officially dedicated today, the center will advance the development of new recycling techniques and new battery deigns to help the United States develop a competitive battery recycling industry and reduce its reliance on foreign sources of battery materials.
