Stability Test Chamber
Industry: Medical Devices
Testing Application: Steady-State Temperature and Humidity Validation for Global Product ComplianceA prominent company in the medical device sector approached Associated Environmental Systems (AES) in need of a specialized environmental test system to validate the long-term stability and performance of their life-saving technologies. To support their expansive operations in two different countries, the client required a solution that could meet specific international power requirements and integrate seamlessly with their proprietary in-house control software. The challenge centered on achieving high-precision environmental uniformity while ensuring the chamber could communicate directly with the client's existing digital infrastructure for streamlined data collection and remote management.
The AES Solution
AES engineered a custom-configured LH-10 Temperature and Humidity Stability Chamber, a high-performance floor-model system built to meet the unique demands of the medical device application.
- Custom Software Integration & API Capability: While LH-10's come standard with AESONE CONNECT® interface, this chamber was specifically tailored to communicate with the client’s own software via an HTTP JSON API over Ethernet, allowing for centralized control and data synchronization across their global facilities.
- Precision Steady-State Environment: The LH-10 delivers a versatile temperature range of -20°C to 94°C with an exceptional stability of ±0.5°C, coupled with a humidity range of 10-95% RH to replicate diverse global climates.
- Advanced Monitoring & Validation: To ensure absolute compliance, the solution includes a Honeywell EZ Trend digital chart recorder and underwent a rigorous Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) using data loggers to verify rapid ramp rates and 3-hour stability windows.
- Closed-Loop Resource Management: The system features a HUMS20001 Water Recycling System with a 6-gallon storage tank and demineralizer, allowing for extended testing cycles without the need for a dedicated water line, all while mounted on heavy-duty brake casters for lab mobility.
Crafting Your Perfect Test Set-Up
