About Associated Environmental Systems

Since 1959, Associated Environmental Systems has designed, manufactured, and supported standard and custom test chambers that meet our customers' most demanding requirements. Our products vary in size from small bench top test chambers to very large walk-in or drive in environmental rooms. AES robust test chambers simulate hot and cold temperature extremes and variations, humidity and moisture conditions, salt spray and thermal shock. While some companies rely on test labs to perform their testing, many companies realize the benefits of performing their own testing in-house. These benefits include: the flexibility to test according to their own schedule - even when it changes, the ability to optimize the type of testing that works best for them, and substantial time and cost savings.

Over the years we have built a very large and loyal customer base spanning the fields of aerospace, pharmacology, electronics, automotive, semiconductors, computers and many more different industries worldwide. Associated Environmental Systems mission has always been to provide consumers with high quality environmental test chambers that allow for independent, efficient, accurate, and controlled product testing.

AES Test Chamber Evolution

Experience AES through our photojournal.

AES has a team of skilled SolidWorks and AutoCAD design engineers to create 3D models and renderings of each order that is placed. This process ensures that every customer specification is met precisely before manufacturing begins. Detailed schematics follow the test chamber throughout its construction, so that each component looks and operates as it should within the unit.

AES reduces the lead times for test chamber orders. We do this with an in-house, computer-guided laser rig to cut out each test chamber component with precision and we continue the work in-house with forming welding, so we can keep standard environmental test chambers to keep the lead time as low as possible and maintain an equally minimal lead time for custom environmental test chambers.

When you see an AES logo on the front of your test chamber, you know that you have the entire AES team behind you. AES provides friendly customer support over the phone or in person, and on-site facility visits for repair and maintenance. We will order the spare part you need and install it for you. Before your AES certified environmental test chamber is shipped to you from our factory, we put it through an in-house stress test to make sure that when your chamber arrives, it works as specified.

Integrity is at the forefront of AES' operation. We respect and guard all customer- desired confidentiality. AES policies assure our customers that both quality and social standards are met and maintained.

AES Quality Policy and Quality Objective PDF

Associated Environmental Systems supports the objectives of the US legislation on the supply of conflict minerals. Conflict minerals are mined in areas where armed conflict and the abuse of human rights are used as a method of control. These mines are mostly located in the eastern provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The minerals extracted from these mines are the "three T's": tantalum, tin, and tungsten, and gold.

The extraction and sale of blood diamonds, also known as "conflict diamonds", is a better-known phenomenon, which occurs under virtually identical conditions.

Policy Commitment:

AES respects both human rights and the environment, which is why we avoid using conflict minerals. We:

  • Support the aims and objectives of the U.S. legislation on the supply of "conflict minerals".
  • Do not knowingly procure specified metals that originate from facilities in the "Conflict Region" that are not certified as "conflict free".
  • Ensure compliance with these requirements, and ask our suppliers to undertake reasonable due diligence with their supply chains to assure that specified metals are being sourced only from:
    • Mines and smelters outside the "Conflict Region" or
    • Mines and smelters which have been certified by an independent third party as "conflict free" if sourced within the "Conflict Region".
